What Can Shockwave Treatment do for you?

Shockwave treatment is unlike any other. It’s not mainstream and there are few centres like our where you can find it.

It’s designed to help with sports and accident injuries, chronic pain and arthritis. If physio and or surgery hasn’t taken away the pain and underlying cause, then shockwave may be what you’re looking for.

Often the pain you feel in one part of the body, it actually caused by a problem elsewhere. For example, a recent client had sever lower back pain, however the issue stemmed from an injury to the knee and stress on the hip joint. By treating these areas, reducing calcium build up and freeing up muscles in the thigh, the hips were able to move more freely  which in turn reduced dragging on the lower back.

We often forget that the whole body is connected and it’s easy for GPs to overlook the root of the problem when faced with a short amount of time to diagnose.

Following a neck injury and spinal fusion, I’ve had chronic head and neck pain for years, within three months of treatment my headaches had gone and I was able to cancel the epidural that my consultant thought was my last option. TLJ Feb 2020

With our treatments we take the time to review your history, look at the body as a whole and treat accordingly. We are often able to remove the pain and prevent any need for surgery.

It’s not the most comfortable of treatments but it’s effective and works on the longterm.

Andrew (Moz) Morris is an adventurer, endurance athlete, and pioneer in non-invasive rehabilitation therapy. Best known for rowing across the Atlantic, Andrew pushed his body to the absolute limit, only to face a devastating reality—his knees were left shattered from the relentless strain. Doctors told him he would never walk properly again. But Andrew refused to accept that fate.

Through relentless research and sheer determination, he became one of only six private individuals in the UK qualified to use a shockwave therapy machine. Defying medical expectations, he successfully regrew his cartilage and rehabilitated his knees, proving that innovation and resilience can overcome even the toughest challenges.

Now, Andrew shares his extraordinary journey of adventure, perseverance, and groundbreaking recovery, inspiring others to push past their own limits—whether on the open ocean or in the battle for their own mobility.
